‘Tempers’ is the first solo-release by James Green (of Big Eyes). It is a collection of improvised/semi-improvised recordings, played solely on classical/nylon-string guitar.

The 14 pieces were recorded between May and June 2003 at James’ home-studio in Sheffield on 2-track, and were all recorded using the following self-imposed rules:

· Only 2 recording tracks allowed
· Only 2 attempts at each track
· If the result was not deemed ‘successful’, then the piece is discarded, and the process starts again from scratch.

The recordings were produced by Neil Shumsky and James Green and are all copyright James Green / Early Winter Recordings 2004.
